BOYFRIEND JEANS

Hi folks, so as most of you have been enjoying the Salah break I have been home dealing with a cold and all the other things that come with it, but I woke up this morning feeling a little bit better and so I decided to do what I love doing the most which is talking to you guys.

During these few days I’ve been ill all I wore was my boyfriend’s boxer and shirt, thus creating the illusion of keeping warm. Then I realized this has been a trend for some time now (not the wearing of boyfriends underwear oh). I mean girls wearing guy clothes and making it look stylish.

There are so many different guy outfits that girls can just rock, but today we are going to just pick one which is the Boyfriend Jean. The boyfriend jean is basically a baggy, slouchy and oversized jean, but not too big that two individual legs can get into one leg space. It gives the impression you’re wearing a man’s jean but is more structured at the waist for a female body. It also tends to flatter thicker legs and thighs more. Wearing this gives a more relaxed and chic vibe that is causal but trendy, trust me you don't have to be a tomboy to rock this look.

Jeans are very versatile in nature, meaning they can be paired with any kind of top depending on the look you’re going for, whether it’s sporty or girly to formal or informal, so yes that means you can also wear your boyfriend jean to work. Some boyfriend jeans can be distressed and ripped so when going for a more formal look try wearing the one without a tear and don't forget to pair it up with an ankle sandal.
