Today’s topic
is interestingly focused on a post from Kendall Jenner’s official app. In the
post titled “The story behind my pink wall!” Kendall explained the reason behind the pink
living room wall of her Los Angeles home. She said and I quote; “Baker-Miller
Pink is the only colour scientifically proven to calm you and suppress your appetite. I was like, “I NEED this colour in my house!” I then found
someone to paint the room and now I’m loving it!”

It feels like an over
the top assumption, but further reading on the colour pink reveals it’s not the
first time pink has been linked to certain behaviours. So, this
begs the question, can the colour pink really suppresses your appetite and calm you
down?
Based on a series of
experiments conducted by the American Institute for Biosocial
Research, which involved this shade of pink and its effect on mood and
behaviour, the colour pink was found to cause a short-term decrease in
aggression. Subsequent experiments also concluded this shade of pink could also
act as a natural appetite suppressant. Both assertions came from being exposed
to the colour for about 15 minutes.

Some of you might find
this non plausible. But if it works for Kendall, then it might work you, at
least the evidence seems to suggest so. So why not try and add some pink to
your life and see what changes it might bring.
