Hello everyone it’s time for us to announce our winner for this October edition of Glam Sunday. Now this edition has been quite special for two reasons; apart from the fact that there’s going to be a gift prize for the winner, this edition has also produced the most difficult decision so far, since all the pictures we got were so on point. Now I don’t know if this was motivated by the proposed gift prize, but all I can say is that it has made this a wonderful edition.

Before we get down to announcing the winner I also want to point out that a sort of theme played out this month, that theme was the colour Black. Most of the pictures we received had our ladies wearing black attires or a variation with black in it, well I guess the trend was a black Sunday and no one told me.

Now to our winner, as I said earlier it was quite difficult making a decision this time around as the quality of outfits were top notch, for that I would like to thank all of you who sent in your pictures for being so glamorous this Sunday. However after much deliberation, I think our winner of the day had to go to the picture below.

Hello everyone, our beauty tip for today has to do with an important part of the woman’s body, her lips. If you all can remember, our last beauty tips post dealt with the perfect way to apply your lipstick (in this case Red lipstick). Well as we all know some ladies due to the nature of their skin are prone to having cracks on their lips. If you wear lipstick and you tend to see lines and cracks on your lips after applying your lipstick, then this post is for you.

An easy way for you to get rid of those lines and cracks on your lips would be to simply apply Shea butter on your lips every night before you go to sleep for a period of time. This application of Shea butter over time will stop the breakage/cracks on your lips and restore a natural smoothness to them. Try it and see the amazing results. And that is our beauty tip for today, on that note wishing you all a lovely week ahead…….

Hello folks, Happy Sunday to everyone one out there. I’d like to welcome you all to another monthly edition of Glam Sunday, for the month of October. This edition of Glam Sunday happens to be a special one, and that is because at the end of it all our eventual winner is going to receive a gift prize (mentioned this earlier from the last edition).

So we will be expecting very lively pictures with your glamorous responses as usual. I’m sure by now you all know the drill, and if we have some new followers amongst us today please kindly follow up the post thread on our Glam Sunday section of the blog to get familiar with how it works. So let’s kick start with a lovely picture bellow, as I always say, hope it inspires.

Your thoughts everyone…….

It's a new week again and I’m sure most of us had a great weekend; well I for one did have a wonderful Sunday evening at the Fashion and Art show held in Port-Harcourt. Well with all the plenty security details I only got in towards the end of the show so I couldn't really take any valuable picture in terms of fashion. However, at the end of the show I met up with one of the organizers and she introduced me to some of the models and I had a little chat with them, they loved the clothes and couldn't stop talking about the designer Akpos Okudu and how they loved working with her.

The next person she introduced me to was Olusegun Adejumo, he's an artist/photographer and he had some of his beautiful Art works presented at the show. After he showed me some his work I just knew he was a professional, his pictures were so good, I can't wait for when I can start taking pictures like that. Well to cut the long story short we arranged on how I would get the pictures so I could share them with you guys. I would definitely love to work with him again. So here are some of the pictures he took, hope you love them as much as I do........

Hi folks, Monday is here again and we’re back into the midweek hustle and bustle. Well we hope we can make the week feel much better for you with some fashion…….

Last week Paths to Possibilities hosted their annual ‘Glitz Glam Give’ charity gala and fashion night in the UK. It was a magnificent night of fashion, fun and charity. Some of you might ask, what’s Paths to Possibilities? Well to answer that question; they’re a UK based charity with a commitment to transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people in Nigeria. As well as sponsoring Secondary School education for poor but bright students to some of the best schools in Nigeria, they also campaign to improve the education system. Hope that’s explains it all.

The theme for this particular night was simply Frocks Rocks & Decadence (remember The Great Gatsby anyone, smilezzz). As the name suggests, the theme is centred on Frocks, the predominant fashion style of the Jazz age of the roaring 1920’s America. The guests all did a good job of trying to pull it off, here some pictures from the night, Enjoy……

Hi folks, so as most of you have been enjoying the Salah break I have been home dealing with a cold and all the other things that come with it, but I woke up this morning feeling a little bit better and so I decided to do what I love doing the most which is talking to you guys.

During these few days I’ve been ill all I wore was my boyfriend’s boxer and shirt, thus creating the illusion of keeping warm. Then I realized this has been a trend for some time now (not the wearing of boyfriends underwear oh). I mean girls wearing guy clothes and making it look stylish.

There are so many different guy outfits that girls can just rock, but today we are going to just pick one which is the Boyfriend Jean. The boyfriend jean is basically a baggy, slouchy and oversized jean, but not too big that two individual legs can get into one leg space. It gives the impression you’re wearing a man’s jean but is more structured at the waist for a female body. It also tends to flatter thicker legs and thighs more. Wearing this gives a more relaxed and chic vibe that is causal but trendy, trust me you don't have to be a tomboy to rock this look.

Happy Nigerian Independence Day people, it is Wednesday and as always that’s the time to announce the winner of our monthly edition of Glam Sunday. All the pictures that were sent in for this edition were lovely as usual, but of course we can only have one winner at the end of it all. So let’s have a recap of the lovely photos that made up this September edition of Glam Sunday:

Picture 1: The lady with the black blouse and stripped skirt, her outfit was nice and I liked the way the black calmed it all down.
Picture 2: The lady with the blue dress and black undertones with a head scarf had a very Christian outfit and made it look stylish.
Picture 4: The lady with the purple and blue matched dress had a very nice colour combination on. The dress also had a way of bringing out her unique figure without being too provocative.
Picture 5: This picture had a ghost looking theme to it if I may say. Nice contemporary outfit by our lady in this picture. I think she could have made it even better by packing her hair.

Now to our winner which by now I’m sure you all have figured out its picture No 3. Our winners dress is perfectly subtle. You can never go wrong with white on a Sunday, plus her yellow neck piece just settles in perfectly, giving it that ultimate touch of radiance. So for that reason I think she takes the day.
