Ralph & Russo have grown to be one of of the best fashion brands in the market. As expected, the duo of Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo brought elegance to the brand’s Fall Couture collection. 

The collection was heavily floral themed featuring roses, petals, leaf motifs and and delicate floral appliqué details on satin, lace, and sheer fabric to create feminine  silhouettes. The collection also made a case for capes being a perfect fall choice as we see lot of cape accents on dresses.

It must feel really good, because even as a spectator, I get excited when I see more than one celeb rock an outfit from a particular Nigerian label.

Recently fashion blogger, Monica Awe-Etuk wore a dress also worn by Latasha Ngwube. Cynthia Obi-Uchendu and Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda-Coker have also rocked same dress.

The Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2016 'Street Catwalk in the Mall' held on Saturday 25th June at the Palms Shopping Mall in Lekki to kick off this year's event.

Models styled in fierce looks crafted from Da Viva fabrics (the major sponsor of the 2016 AFWN) wore bold makeup looks from Zaron Cosmetics (official makeup sponsor for the show) for the street catwalk.

The annual catwalk -back for the third edition- preceding the fashion week saw models strutting the mall to raise awareness just before the fashion week.

Starting off from an end of the mall, the models were assembled to show off their fierce print styles with statement dab where audience were able to take shots and selfies with them before strutting into the Da Viva store at the mall where guests were addressed and taken through the AFWN 2016 schedule.

The organizers revealed this year's show will be bigger, better as well as showcase creativity at its best with over 68 upcoming designers set to showcase at the show gearing to be the biggest out of Africa.
