MADEMOISELLE AGLAIA’S ITALIAN INFLUENCED FRIDA COLLECTION

Womenswear label, Mademoiselle Aglaia presents look book collection titled Frida, and it is filled with exciting pieces and vibrant colours.
The collection is said to be inspired by Frida Kahlo de Rivera, a Mexican painter known for her self portraits and the creative director, Mariam Afolabi, shared this with these few words;
“This collection evolved from not just gaining inspiration from Frida but also the Italian culture, their dancers and the famous matadors. The headpieces and flower print fabrics used represent Frida’s look and fashion style. The consistent use of red is also a way of emphasis the inspiration from a rose and the colour used mostly by the Italian flamenco dancers”
Take a look at this lookbook, and let us know what you think..... ENJOY
