You hear
the name Vaseline, and you may think it has only minor uses, but this thinking
can make you miss out on one of the cheapest beauty remedies and you might be
surprised by all the wonderful things Vaseline can do for you. So we’ve
decided to compile a list of some of them for you;
It Makes
Your Eyelashes Grow:
Lather
Vaseline all over your eyelashes overnight and watch them thicken, even without
a prescription.
Helps Your
Perfume Last Longer:
Softly rub
Vaseline all over your perfume points (i.e. the cleavage, behind the ear, neck,
and wrist) and your scent will last longer.
Exfoliate
Your Lips:
Mix Vaseline
with granulated sugar to make lip scrub and apply it to your lips and scrub
gently to remove dead cells, leaving your lips smoother and softer.
Lipstick Smear:
Spread a
little Vaseline over your teeth and lipstick smear is gone. This is an infamous
tip used at beauty pageants.
To Remove Makeup:
Make up
especially the eye makeup can prove very stubborn to remove. You can apply some
Vaseline to a wet cotton bud and wipe that area and make sure to rinse the face
afterwards.
Remove
Makeup Stains For Your Clothes:
Dab a
little with a damp cloth.
As A Substitute
for Lipstick:
Ran out of
lipstick? You can mix Vaseline with a pink or red eye shadow and you have just
created your own lip shade.
A Mess Free
Manicure:
Apply Vaseline
to your cuticles before polishing your nails to keep color off the skin around
your nails.
Open Your
Nail Polish Bottles:
Sometimes
the nail polish bottles can be very difficult to open, using a cotton bud apply
a little Vaseline inside the nail polish cap before closing this would help the
nail polish from sealing the lid shut making it easier to open next time.
And last but not the least it can be used to remove false
eyelash glue from your lash line.
I hope you’ve
all enjoyed this piece on some of the great beauty uses of Vaseline. If you
have any further questions on the subject please don’t hesitate to ask. Have a
great week ahead guys and GBF ALWAYS……
I use Vaseline as a lip gloss several times a day. It saves money on lipgloss and by the end of the day your lips are softer than a baby’s bottom
ReplyDeleteYes o, I usually rubbed my hands with it and then painted my nails and then it came out super shiny
ReplyDeleteYou can also use it on your eyelashes to keep them soft and strong
ReplyDeleteShe already said that, try and read the post and not just skim through it, you hear lol…
DeleteAbeg is she paying you to point out that she already said that, mtsheww. I didn’t see it at first, simple. So keep your corrections to yaself!
DeleteI love Vaseline. I use it to moisturize, as an eye makeup remover/eye cream, on my hair, on my feet/elbows etc. Love it!! Never knew about the manicure thing - so thank you for the new tip!!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm definitely going to try applying Vaseline to my wrists before I put on perfume. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of Vaseline as a lip balm, since I feel like it kind of smooths and seals my lips without really hydrating them.
ReplyDeleteI've used it as lip balm, hand cream and foot cream. It definitely works wonders on dry skin.
ReplyDeleteit’s all fun and games until you lick your lips hehe
DeleteWow, as in super helpful. Well, excuse me while I go buy my bottle of vaseline
ReplyDeletealready know most of this. But the perfume one and make up remover one is extremely helpful!!
