GLAM SUNDAY (DECEMBER, 2014) AND THE WINNER IS!!!

Hello everyone it’s Wednesday and time for us to announce our winner for this Decembers edition of Glam Sunday (our last edition of the year 2014). I have to say this edition of Glam Sunday was indeed special as almost all the contestants stood out, bringing their fashion A game to the table this December. However, we can only one Glam Sunday winner, so let's get down to business.

Picture No1: I have to say her whole attire was extremely nice and flawless. She was second best for me and could only have been kept down by our eventual winner.

Picture No2: Now this picture brings us back to the editing issue. In my opinion its way better you do not edit your pictures at all, this leaves room for a more accurate interpretation of what your picture actually looks like. For example it’s quite difficult for me to distinguish the exact colours in the main dress which is part of the whole attire she has on. From my own perspective which might be misconstrued due to the editing, green should have been the theme colour of her accessories and shoes, because the dress itself is already dominated by the colour purple with green being less prominent. Finally the gold purse was a nice touch to the outfit, however, let’s not lose sight of the fact that editing your pictures hinders others from making the right judgment about them.

Picture No3: I really do like this outfit, its good enough for a Glam Sunday, cool and simple.

Picture No5: Hoping not to sound too harsh but I have to say I think the outfit was quite ordinary. There wasn’t really that touch of glam we have all come to expect from our Glam Sunday outfits.

Picture No6: In my opinion I’ll describe this outfit in one word and that is ‘Confusing’. I just think our lovely lady here got all the combinations wrong. The shoes are out of place in this outfit and the bag is tad too big for a traditional attire like this. In short, everything is not well put together.

Picture No7: I have to say this is one of the most colourful outfits I’ve seen in a while. The colours are eye catching with a beautiful cord lace material. Our lady pooped in this outfit, the combination of the colours (yellow being one of my favorite colours) and her demeanor where really girly and cool. Personally I love this; however, someone else had to take the day.
Now to our winner, which by now you’ve all guessed is Picture No4. As I said earlier most of the contestants stood out this month, but our winner was a class higher at the end of the day, and this is why;

Firstly its quite obvious she tailor made the white Jumpsuit she's wearing with a lilac material that is mostly used to make men’s traditional clothing, with that being said, I must say, to me that was a fantastic piece of fashion creativity. Now she didn’t just stop there with her creative element, she went further still with her shoes and accessories. The shoes were so subtle when matched with the Jumpsuit in the sense that the colours are just a bit similar but never the same for the shoes not to stand out on their own. Her hair added another simplicity element to her whole get up and totally allowed for her beaded neckpiece and ear rings to standout (notice the red, thus keeping to the spirit of Christmas colours). For me she’s simply glam because her style is effortless. She didn’t struggle to put to many things together in her outfit, but instead allowed her sense of style and creativity to flow as one. This is a huge reminder that being glam and stunning doesn’t have to be all complicated.

So let us know what you all think, and till next month’s edition of Glam Sunday remain blessed everyone, GBF always.

Note: Our winner should send us her details on the Pamos Expression Facebook page where her photo was tagged and we’ll let you know how you can redeem your prize. Thank you.

  1. This was a very tough call, but I liked the first picture a lot, in all I think you made a good decision for the winner, I wasn’t sure she deserved it at first until I read the post and truly understood why she had to win

  3. I totally agree with your stance against editing, I don’t like the idea at all. Anyhow the winner as you said was very creative, seeing that jumpsuit has really given me an idea what to make next time I visit the tailor.

  4. In truth the winner really deserved it from what you said about her outfit, not a lot of people will notice unless they are very in tune with fashion, it doesn’t have to be all complicated. Also your write up on the winner was very articulate, I doubt if you pay an editor to help you out and you still do a very good job with your writing which makes it more impressive.
