We absolutely love the current thigh high slit trend and
the best part is that it can be made into anything a lady wants, depending on
how she wears it. While we have been seeing this trend grazing red carpets all
year, what is so efficient about this look is that it can be implemented into
casual outfits as well. As hemlines are becoming more and more modest these
days, the thigh high slit is a great way to show some sex appeal and still
maintain stylish elegance. A number of celebrities have already been featured
on this blog sporting thigh high slits; here are some reminders of a few of them:

Comfy & Courageous
For a comfortable and casual
look that is still stylish and cool, neutral coloured maxi skirts and simple
dresses with thigh high slits are the perfect piece to have in your
closet. Match your simple thigh high slit skirt with any crop top (any sleeve
length or pattern) and a cute pair of booties during the fall season. Keep
accessories limited, as the high thigh slit says enough on its own!
Bold and Beautiful
For a more dressed up version of the thigh high slit
trend, colours and prints say it all! Whether you are just going out with some
girlfriends for a nice dinner, or attending a dressy event, patterns and colours
implemented into this sexy thigh high slit look is the perfect way to make a
classy and bold fashion statement. Again, accessories should be limited as
prints, colour and slits do more than enough!
Red Carpet Ready
For a full blown black tie event, here is a great option to
effortlessly stun in your own thigh high slit number.
So would you all be
willing to try out this look or would you rather prefer watching others wear
it. Let’s have your opinions.

Nope. High slits definitely not for me, Kylies own is OUTRAGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look. The style is pretty and elegant to an extent depending on how you wear it.
ReplyDeleteThis is definite trend I have noticed it on the red carpet too. Some can be quite daring like what Kylie Jenner and Jlo had on, but most I’ve seen are really nice when worn properly. Great tips at the end, might try this out with my tailor
ReplyDeleteThe side slits are perfect when they aren't too high, its the really high ones I don't like at all. I still wore a high slit dress I made to a wedding over the weekend and I loved it
ReplyDeleteDon't have any problems with thigh high slits, they are cool but sometimes I think very a high slit ruins an otherwise beautiful dress e.g the first dress kyli wears and jlo's dress, I'm picturing them as a normal dress without the extremely high slits and think they would look so much better
ReplyDeleteCool I kind of like been waiting for a post that had to do with this high slit trend that is sort of making waves now. For me wearing this style of dress is not for everyone. You need long, lean, flawless legs to wear this dress and pull it off.
ReplyDeleteYup I love the thigh high slit look on the whole. However, it just takes a lot of balance to pull off. Showing a lot of leg means covering up elsewhere, and I believe some of the celebrities above failed in that aspect. I also liked the short tips on how to pull off the high slit look, those are very good tips to follow if you’re planning on wearing one
