There’s a
whole lot of information out there about men’s grooming, very few men do take
care of themselves, they just just roll out of bed, put on a pair of pants and
shirt and head out the door. Here’s our list of personal grooming habits you
should regularly employ.
1. SHOWER:
Nobody
likes the stinky kid. Wash your body and face every day, and shampoo your hair
at least every three days. If this sounds like a lot of work, you may want to
look into all-in-one products for men. There are several good options that
serve as shampoo, body wash and even shaving cream if you’re feeling
adventurous.
2. TAKE
CARE OF YOUR TEETH:
Brush your
teeth twice a day, floss daily and whiten. Yes, whiten. Those coffee cigarette
stains make you look ridiculous when you're smiling. Try whitening toothpaste
and if that doesn’t do the trick, there are plenty of very effective
over-the-counter teeth whitening products.
3. SHAVE OR
ATLEAST TRIM YOUR FACIAL HAIR:
A straggly
or patchy beard will not make you look interesting like James Franco – it will
make you look like a homeless person. Unless you can grow a full, beautiful
beard, you should be shaving at least every other day.
4. MAINTAIN
YOUR DO:
Even if
you’re going for afro or dread, try to keep it neat and trimmed. You may not
like the idea of using a hair product, but running a little hair cream through
your hair might be just what you need to take your look to the next level.
5. CLIP
YOUR NAILS:
Please clip
your nails clip them. Every man should have a pair of nail cutter atleast. The
longer your nails get the dirtier and more unprofessional they become.
6. WASH
YOUR FEET:
If your too
busy and can't go for a pedicure, you can actually do it at home by soaking
your feet in hot water with some dettol using a foot scrub. Scrub the bottom of
your feet and toes. This would help kick embarrassing foot fungus and other
odorous.
7. CHANGE
YOUR SHEETS AND TOWEL:
Some men
can use the same sheets and towel for months, try changing your sheets and
towel atleast twice a month; it would help reduce acne and other skin
infections.
8. USE GOOD
ANTI-PERSPIRANT PRODUCTS:
No one
wants to see a sweaty armpit or yellow or dark stains on your shirts, buy and
use good anti perspirant deodorants.
